Each tribe of the bitterly divided Nimbian people lives on its own island; one of them is yours. Each island has its own Temple, dedicated to one of the three Furies -- Rain, Wind and Thunder -- which are locked in eternal stuggle like the Nimbians themselves. You must help your own Nimbian tribe to protect its powerful High Priest, who alone has the ability to harness Storm Power, the essence of all creation and destruction.

  11. While the Furies are pleased with the proliferation of Temples in their honor, they are most pleased with the sacrifice of enemy High Priests at the altars of their temples.

  15. Deusphere
  16. The Deusphere is the core of Nimbus, where the three Furies fight mercilessly, bringing on a constant, roiling storm. As the Furies wage war, they create the almighty Storm Power; in addition, the Furies let fly huge chunks of earth, which become the islands occupied by the Nimbians. No one can enter the Deusphere -- such intrusion into the battles of the Furies would mean a violent, painful end.

  18. Pyrosphere
  19. The land masses hurled from the Deusphere comprise the Pyrosphere, where the Nimbian tribes live and fight among the raging storms. Your sole aim is to capture and sacrifice enemy High Priests, thereby appeasing the Furies who bestow your Nimbians with new Knowledge in appreciation of your efforts.

  21. As commander of the Nimbian troops on your island, you control a disciplined, obedient army of experienced soldiers and a devastating arsenal of powerful war weaponry ideally suited for the decimation of all opposing forces.
